Boost leak help.

I seem to have a massive boost leak coming from behind my throttle body, towards the firewall. The air is escaping from what I understand to be some sort of "Idle Air Bleed Off Flapping Device" or some crazy stuff like that.

Basically it's a silver plate with an allen key in the middle, and one Philips head screw. From What I understand this is only present on 03/04 Evo 8's

Here's a picture of the device that's leaking.

Does anyone know exactly what this does?

Is it only the '03-04's throttlebodies that came with that?

Buy the o-ring that sits in there, im sure someone sells it, hi-temp RTV silicon it in place and put it all back together, the o-ring in there will be hard as a hocky puck when you take it out,, rubber seals get old unfortunately, replaced all the gaskets and o-rings on my gsx a year ago and no more boost leak

Indeed. That seal was toast.

Well. I just RTV'ed the entire thing. around the seal, and the outside of it.

It appears I need to replace my Shaft Seal as well. BOO!
