Little help... Broken studs
So I was trying to change out my O2 housing. My O2 sensor and the last nut became quite troublesome and would not budge. So, I eventually just said **** it, I'll take out the whole turbocharger. So, everything was going good until I started taking off the exhaust manifold to turbo hotside nuts. They were not coming off easy (even with copious amounts of PB Blaster) and one of them stripped, while the other one just sheared off. You can see this in the pictures:

What I need to know is, what are the part numbers for new studs and nuts? Also, are there ARP studs that can go in the same location (same thread lengths and pitch) and what are their part numbers?
Thanks.

Same **** happened to me... I just cut them off drilled the same size hole as the other two... And used a new bolt and nut... Worked great with no leaks.
That was on my old 8 turbo now I have a green.

Yea. I literlly just got back from the machine shop. And they said they couldnt get them out and that they would have to drill them out. And mine likes the same I stripped one. but it came out but the other one is not coming. I would recommend a machine shop.
I swear the FP ones are bigger/larger than stock. I ordered a set from the factory and they were baby dick in comparison.
These should be them or just call FP and tell them you want the studs that come on the Black - http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Lancer-TurboHW
Get yourself a good set of stud puller sockets too, heat that effer up until it's cherry and remove em- http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CH4Q8wIwAw#

Did you check the ARP website? I had the same problem deff had to drill them out, I was lucky I had some meat left...most machine shops will either attempt to drill them out with heating it up and removing the stripped stud there are tools out their for this type of thing have you checked that out at all?

I was planning on cutting off the stud back to where the threads still are and trying to pull the stud out the old fashioned way with two nuts and a breaker bar. I might buy a stud puller kit if those are a better idea. Worst comes to worst, I can drill out the stud. My folks have all the tools I will need for that (my dad had to drill out a stainless steel stud on his boat not too long ago).
Also, I am going to buy the Turbo Gasket kit from Mitsubishiparts.net from a suggestion by a buddy. It looks like it comes with the studs I will need. Now, I just need to figure out where I can get the studs that hold the exhaust manifold on in case one of those decide to **** out on me when I replace the exhaust manifold.
