The game is over.
Just got done replacing the clutch for the third time. I wont get into the list of things I've had to do to my car. When it breaks I talk about yarding it out but after I get it back the fun factor takes over again. It's the craziest car I've ever owned and now that I see they aren't making it anymore makes me just want to keep it.

I made this post in march and to this day I can still say that I am not tempted to mod. Girlfriend offered to buy me a car part of my choice for my Bday, and all I asked for was time with her and good friends.
I gotta say this not modding is AWESOME.

^^^^^agreed
I bought myself a dd making the Evo no longer just the only dd to have. When ever I drive my Evo I want to buy stuff for it or clean the crap out of it. Now with my work schedule and deployment in September I'm gonna put storage coverage on it (saves me 200$ a month) plus I won't be driving it for 9 months which will let me calm down on the spending while focusing on paying it off next year. Taking a break from it is always a good thing but when you come back to it the mod bug hits hard agian lol
I stick to the track now. No more trying to show off, so I don't need power mods to try and blow the doors off the next guy at an 80 mph highway roll.
have not modified in over 3 years...luckily i stopped at just bolt-ons or I would be kicking myself right now. 400whp and just got 28mph on the highway last week, 87k miles and 12.0's at the track. Couldn't ask for anything more.

When you look at your bank account and see all of this extra money that is not getting spent you can. I honestly have been like "WOW this month I have not spent $1,000's on my car, nor have I received a notice from BOA saying that my account may be experiencing fraudulent activity."

Sold the bike (It had been laid down and they reconstructed really well). Wife bought an STi. Keeping that simple. Maybe an E85 tune, ordered some CCWs for that, coilovers and deciding what to do with the OEM Nav system, downpipe and air intake, a tune and leaving it alone.
Finally getting my car back together.
After this I just want to enjoy it.
