Where to get the tool to install torsion bars on trunk hinges?

Hey guys I was having a problem with the trunk on the Evo 8 I purchased staying up, but after posting it on here I found out someone took off one of the torsion bars because the car use to have a wingless cf trunk on it. I have ordered the torsion bar I need but it says you need a special tool to install it. Does anyone know where I can get the tool or has anyone else ever used something else?

use a screwdriver or pry bar

if you use a screw driver make sure it has a very think shaft as you'll be putting a lot of force on it

I've installed and uninstalled them with a good sized flat head screwdriver

I will warn you that you are put a lot of force behind the bars and you need to be careful. One slip and you'll have a torsion bar flying at you.

Sounds good, what do you do just put the flat end up against the rear deck (where the speakers are at) and use that for leverage. I have to take the LH one off because that is the one that is on there and it says you must install the RH one 1st. Thats the one I just ordered. Thanks again for the help.

Another solution: source cf trunk and re-install leaving torsion bars out

Kidding aside, I was too lazy to reinstall the bars after putting on my cf trunk too, kinda funny hehe.

I would suggest using something other than that tool as it cost 200 bucks from mitsubishiparts.net

Thats what I was thinking too. Thought maybe other members may have used something else besides the tool.
