Ok so i got the battery hooked up. I have both ets lower and upper pipes. paired with the ebay intercooler:/ And when i put the upper on to the throttle body, should the couple be snug all the way around? should it be like that on all the couples? and does anyone have a small problem with fitment?

i just installed the same setup on my car last week but i got a 4 inch ets intercooler. the only problem i had was with my positive battery wires. i had to run one under the upper pipe and one above it. other than that everything fit just fine.

Silicone Couplers are usually pretty snug when installed. I know a lot of DSM'ers used to use hairspray to lube up the couplers during installation, worked 2 ways, lubrication during installation, and would also help seal the coupler when dried.

try to install it with your stock intercooler and see if you are still having fitment issues. If not, then you know its the ebay IC.

Now that u mention it, I think that's what was done to mine. I looked and the logo doesn't show. I do get a clicking noise from time to time. Not sure if that's why.
