Evo IX Gsr Headlights

i just bought an Evo IX GSR and i want to know if i need to buy an HID kit or if i can just buy new bulbs or headlights. thanks for the help!

+1. It's really hard to help when threads like this show up

I guess we have to guess:

#1. Your car came with no headlights? buy new headlights
#2. Your car came with stock lights (halogen) and you want HID's: buy a 9006 hid kit or MR headlights ( have to figure wiring out)
#3. Your car came with an HID kit installed/ MR headlights installed and bulbs are burnt: buy appropriate bulb replacement

i just wanted to know if i could change the stock bulbs to hid's, or if i have to get a whole HID kit.

next time ill take more time on wording my question lol

Yes you have to buy a hid kit. A 9006 hid kit. you will need the ballast and ignitor to make your stock harness work with hid bulbs. So you will need a 9006 hid kit.

not to thread jack, but its appropriate. drivers side headlight burnt out im assuming. it either doesnt work at all or a regular white light in its place of the blue halogen... would buying a new bulb fix or what?

feel like a real newb with this haha
