I got my 05 8 RS in August 2009 for $16k with ~46k miles on it. I think I ended up paying like $1,100 in taxes and registration though. Actually, I only really payed 6k plus the tax and registration since I got 10k for my Jeep.

I purchased my 2006 IX MR with 12,000 miles for 27k out the door.

Minor mods:
exhaust
intake filter
LICP
AMS FMIC
Sound System

I just turned 18,000 miles on her last week. I really wish I didnt have a daily driver, it would force me to drive her more often.

I'm amazed how well Evos hold their value. I bought my '06 Evo9 MR a week ago for $23k with 72k miles.

I thought I did pretty good but man some of you guys got some DEALS! My car was super clean, and stock though, so I guess it was worth it. It's actually pretty hard to find stock and clean ones now...they're modded like crazy or with horrrrible paint (not garaged) or something
