man that sucks! need flame throwers under the car to cook criminals like that. Probably sold it to buy meth. It looks like your windows are tinted. I bet that deadens the sound alot when they busted that window. Hitting and breaking tempered glass like that usually makes a very loud sound. Sorry again man.

Sorry this happened to you bro, my first mod will be a Viper alarm system or that Lojack system. Its just crazy someone would break your window and all that for a freaking radio! just amazes me how people take what you work so hard for.

Yep, that sure does suck. I feel your pain though. I had my driver's side window broken and my dash torn apart for nothing. They couldn't get the stereo out because, well, they forgot a screw driver. It's really cute; you can see where they tried to slip their fingers in and extract the unit with brute force.

Ultimately, you still win. Your education and dedicated work ethic will take you alot further in life than even the most premium stereo.

Here's a tip to save you some money:
Buy a regular Lancer glass. They are like 1/16" thicker (I guess Mitsu wanted to save weight on the Evo here), but work just fine. At Binswanger Glass, the Evo DS window was like $276. The Lancer version was a whopping $55. Installing it took maybe two hours; the broken bits of glass took much longer to clean. Good luck!

Thanks for the offer, but I actually have my old one laying around. I'll probably just drive my Jeep around until I sell it.

That sucks. I remember back when I had my ef 4 door broken in to, I was so pissed. And that was a civic so I cant imagine if it was the EVO. I think I would go on a RAMPAGE.

None of the evos came with stock alarm. Its just keyless entry. A lot of evo owners think their evos come with stock alarm. Even me. You need to buy an alarm.

Also, I have a $1000 deductible. The kicker, called progressive yesterday to see what $500 would rate my rate to.

Basically, I'm SOL.

Damn that sucks badly. Sad thing is cops really don't try or care to find the people. I did not know there were any evo owners this close to me, you are about 30 mins. from me. I go through your area on my way to work. This is the price we pay for having nice things I guess.
