This (Viper) as well will be my first mod... living by Chicago people are nuts out here. Evos are stolen all the time.

Keep checking your local craigslist and other sites that have for sale ads to see if this guy put up any of your stuff for sale. Also, was your ipod in plain sight or was it hidden in the glove or something. I never keep anything of value in my car and sometimes even leave the glove box open so people can see I have nothing inside.

Car alarms don't do much if you aren't there at the right time and even if they do go off the crook is usually long gone already. Just keep all valuable items out of sight as if they don't see anything they want, they will go to another car.

i dont get it, people spend their hard earned money on a car and they just dont take the steps to protect it.

that stuff isnt gonna cost much to fix either. couldve been worse

yea alarm might help but may not always stop someone, garage is probably as close as you can get to 100 percent protected, but yea thats what i hated about living in apartment complexes, parking spots are all close together and my evo was vulnerable

Alarms don't scare your good burglers. Alarms aren't worth it, that's why you have insurance.

Burglar is still going to do damge whether he takes anything or not. Alarm doesn't prevent him/her from knocking out your windows

FYI anyone buying an evo and not parking in a private garage invest in a alarm. Our car have KEYLESS entry not an alarm.

I'm glad I have a garage. I'd be too paranoid.

I live on base and there is very very small amounts of petty crime in Germany. But when I move back to the states: Viper it is.

I always assumed it was an alarm too.
