I talked to the head of Mitsu parts, and he said that Ralliart USA is a ways off still. The problem they are facing is the pricing point. Ralliart gear, as we all know, is just too damned expensive compared to almost everything else out on the market. $200 for radiator hoses? etc... Anyway, he admitted that it was a problem, and that they are trying to work that out before they bring it over stateside. We'll just have to wait a bit longer.

Hey did anyone found out where to buy Automobile magazine with the EVO on the cover? Or it didn't even exist only for the subscribers...

Cut this one out for your scrap books:
2004 Sport Compact Car of the Year.
They say it needs a bigger gas tank. That's the sum of their negative comments!

If you're into driving fast, if you're into tuning your ride, if you're into getting the most car for your hard-earned dollars; heck, if you're reading this magazine, the Lancer Evolution VIII is the car for you.

They should have also mentioned the guages are a pain to read and need to be *FIXED*. Whatever possible issue he clutch might have had by some folks needs to have been investigated and any possible design or QC problems addresed. Also if they had taken it through the 4th to 5th gear plunge, they would suggest a a 6 speed that would help it from falling flat on it's face going into top gear. a 6 speed with 5th and 6th that keep the car in the sweet spot like the 1st through 4th do so very well. There is room for imrovement. so little though that if they did throw in a bigger fuel tank, fix the guages. assure the clutch system is 100% solid and give it a cog to power straight on up to top speed WARP 10 MR. Sulu, it might night ever need another evolution...
Wow that looks too much like my old triple mikuni'd E31 + L28 1970 240z - HLS3016049.. with over a half inch of lift cam and 9500 rpm redline, it ripped from 6k up!

my clutch has lots of track miles, many street starts and a couple of visits to the dragstrip and still no issues with my tranmission.
8k miles - 1 set of tires at 6k.

Scot that is great. and everyone I know personally has not hand any clutch issues yet either and they are all mod nutz, but from many of the experiences listed here, I just hope any potential probelms have been looked at and will not occur in the future.
