It seems clear. Few folks would choose the same fate for their Evos as you chose for yours, so it's no surprise that you'd also choose a non-factory body part that is not commonly used by others.

It's not just the paint; there's fit and finish to consider, as well. I don't know if most folks give a flying fruck about JDM'ness here, but they sure do care about using factory body parts. To many, the $300 isn't enough to warrant turning a wold class automobile into a rolling Ebay ad. YMMV
im pretty sure this is a fiberglass bumper. and there comes all the problems with saving the money up front. they get stress cracks and tend to get cracks in the clear from what i have seen over time. oem real thing is the way to go.
