ball joint looks fine.. im guessing it is the wheel bearing.. would it be better to buy a new bearing and have it pressed in? or just get a new hub assembly? also on the highway the steering wheel shakes if there is weight on the right front.. but around right hand corners the weight is on the left so it doesnt.. i got used tires and rims so it needs an alignment anyway, but could this also be a symptom of the wheel bearing?? Thanks guys, lmk

if it has an inch of play I woulnt drive the thing anywhere. A wasted wheel bearing usually will have a growling noise that changes with weight and speed. Even if your hub nut is loose the bearing will need to be replaced at this point. My left front has a hint of play, my shop quoted 250 to pull the hub, press in a new bearing reinstall and re allign.

the axle nut tq spec is 123lbs/ft, the rotors movement is normal, we have floating rotors type. GL pressing the bearing, thats a PITA.

There's no such thing as pressing in the wheel bearings. You gotta buy the whole hub assembly. Easy fix.
