Buying an Evo next week. Quick Question

lol I love you guys, I really do, so he was a bit vague while I was texting him, the car's in South Carolina, and I plan on seeing it over my spring break next weekend, I'm in chicago but my mom lives in NC Raleigh area (just moved) so it kinda worked out, I think he wanted 20K for it. with 72XXX on it roughly. I can't figure out what else is on that thing, I was concerned about the exhaust, how he said it was running rich. Dunno if that was an easy fix, and also he did sound like a tard, because I definitely was under the assumption that your really not spose to crank up the boost on stock internals without a tune and at least the where with all too what you are doing. Also he said it was a stock turbo? With black intercooler piping, idk may just be an idiot and I might have to move on to a different MR. thanks guys, any more info you need?
the seller didn't even cold start the car for you or go over the entire car. but the black soot from the exhaust isn't a big deal. those winter donuts would keep me away.
Lol At the guy showing how dirty the exhaust tip is. Every Evo is like that so I wouldn't worry about that. The thing about having a car like this down here in the south, is that no one that knows how to work on them. There aren't many good tuner shops close by. That being said, I wouldn't buy an Evo from someone down here that cant even explain what mods are on the car. That means the maintenance probably wasn't kept really good.
