Unhappy My baby's totaled!

Last weekend I got a flat tire going around a turn in my town and spun out and hit a rock embankment. It got totaled. My airbags didn't go off and my insurance company is lowballing me for my evo. I don't know what to do.

To get top dollar for your total loss you can provide them with other evos for sale with exact model and package you had. Literally go on autotrader.com, cars.com, etc and find what other similar evos are being sold for in your area. That is what I did from a previous car which was totaled due to a deer and I got top dollar and much more than what insurance was going to offering.

Can we see some photos of the loss though? Have you thought about buying it back and then parting it out?

I agree, Insurance was going to give me 3k for my foxbody mustang. I printed off other mustangs my year and mileage, mostly the ones that were 8k+. I faxed them probably over 20 ads with pictures. We had to negotiate 3 different times but I got above what i was expecting, and my totalled car back.

So dont fold on the first offer.

if theyre not giving your kbb or nada price keep fighting. print out nada and kbb value. and also any local ads with similar mileage for sale. but if theyre trying to give you kbb thats what youll end up getting srry

Buy it back, they will let you as long as there is no loan on it.
