Quick question. I opened my top cam gear cover today to find my t belt worn pritty bad. Its an oem belt so im assuming its never been changed. Will a t-belt off of a 6bolt 4g63 from a 1gdsm work the same on it???. I ask because I plan on taking it out of town this weekend for boost for boobies at map and don't want to risk anything. I have 2 Greddy t-belts in good shape.

hey i got my old belt off and i have not timed this engine before. Ware is the tdc mark on the oil pump and how do you line up the balance shaft to the oil pump. I never took the bs belt off.

You are doing a t-belt job without checking the marks??! make sure all the marks line up before you start the car.

 

Belts were the same! not sure ware in my post I said I was not going to check the marks. Belt is on and it runs fine.
