Shudder in 6th when letting off gas after accelerating?

just got my 05 MR tonight, overall very very happy but this is my first turbo car

driving on the highway, im getting a weird issue. If I accelerate and spool up, I get a shudder if I let off the pedal. The less I accelerate, the more the shudder when the gas is removed.

Car has a greddy BOV and a MBC

is this normal?

sounds like a BOV problem.

Not sure though.

Mine also did that with a Greddy BOV and MBC. I switched to a Synapse DV, kept the MBC and it has seemed to calm the shudder although it's still there a little bit. It only really happens if I start to build boost in 5th or 6th and then let off the gas real fast, I'm guessing that's normal but I could be wrong.

EDIT: Forgot to mention my tuner didn't think anything of it when I took him for a test drive after my tune.

it's normal...replace it with a stock diverter and it'll be much less violent and annoying

the engine is under increased load in high gears and builds boost more easily...so when you let off the gas the air has yo go somewhere
