Well Im not complaning, whining, but wish there was CC, and a better interior, but Just because I make those statement's has no effect on how I like my car.

If you take it that way its you who are the one who has the problem.

There are some things that I would change for the better, some are perfect the way they are.

Everyone has an opinion on what or what they don't like.

But the bottom line for me is, I love the EVO, best car I've ever owned.....

I've been waiting for most of my entire life for a car of THIS magnitude to come about. In the years past, all I could do was watch WRC updates on the Speed Channel and dream. Gran Turismo was the closest thing to driving an Evo. The mere rumor about the Evo coming to US shores made me drool! Just the thought was ecstacy. Now, the very same car in my dreams and on TV is sitting on my driveway! It sleeps when I sleep and is awake when I am. Do you think after waiting for so long, and countless dreams, that I'm just gonna start ranting about the lack of a cruise control function or poor interior?

YOU PEOPLE ARE LUCKY TO BE DRIVING A LEGEND. In fact, you should feel honored. I don't think you people realize the importance of this landmark. We've been such an unfortunate country. Japan has been lavishly spoiling every other country with Evos, but ours. We got nothing for more than a decade! Instead, we got GSXs and VR4s, which pale in comparison to the true spirit of a REAL Evo. It's like they were giving us table scraps.

Do you know what I did when I first got my car? I took my family out to an expensive Japanese restaurant and I drove for 10 hours from the suburbs to and from Chicago. I rolled around the city, ripping up express ways, even challenged a Corvette and M3 while I was enjoying my dream coming true. NEVER ONCE DID I EVER THINK ABOUT THE EVO NEEDING CRUISE CONTROL. My foot was WOT for most of the 10 hours. No cramps. I didn't get home 'til almost 4 am and I was still awake because I felt alive. I woke up at 7 am, just 3 hours later, and drove for another 2 hours just to get a glimpse of my Evo greeting the morning sun.

THAT IS LOVE. That is what you people need.

Oh another thing...

I don't mind if you inform the forums, out of good conscience, about a mechanical failure. Every car eventually runs into mechanical problems. Information like this helps others and is very much appreciated.

Nitpicking is what I don't appreciate so I hope I've made that clear. I know for a fact that there will always be nitpicking, but I just had to voice out because a man can only take so much before frustration sets in. However, I stand by my view.

This will be last outburst regarding this subject.

The one that gets me is "I wish there was cruise control"! WTF!!!
That's the biggest ***** that drives me crazy. Next in line is leather seats. However, *****ing about stupid dealers trying to screw people over on warranty repairs is well worth the sites space.
