2006 IX Wheel Gap

Looking at a few Evo's lately and seen a few that have more wheel gap up front than in the rear. Is that normal? Basically looks like the front is higher and rear is lower because of that.

I think that's how almost every car (except the Dodge SRT-4) is from the factory.

That's why lowering springs lower the front more than the rear.

main reason the front looks (and is) so high is that the front lip on the se's clears a standard parking curb and sidewalk with 1/16-1/8th inch to spare, normal lips will clear by a bit more

The front suspension is higher than the rear from the factory for the best cornering and handling.

Remember, your evo is a RALLY car! The front needs to be higher for handling, getting over rocks, ruts, fast changing elevation, and etc.

It's normal, all stock suspention on these cars are going to be higher in the front.
