Getting in contact with TRE??

Does anyone know a better way of getting in contact with TRE?? I would like to set up something soon to have my tranny and TC built by them and I've tried emailing and calling to no avail. I wanted to ask a few questions and get recommendations. I really wanted to go through them because I've heard a lot of positive things about them, but if they don't get back to me I might have to go somewhere else. Which I don't want to do.

Check out MAP for their TC service: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...available.html

They have excellent customer support. It's good to not have to worry about getting updates from them.

I just call every 30min or so when I'm trying to get a hold of him. He said he gets in around 10-11am there, so I call around noon west coast.

It may take a while because Jon does not answer the phone when he is working on a transmission or rear end. Be patient. He will talk to you for a 1/2 hour when you get him in person.

TRE has the best in experience and in equipment to do the job right. Nobody else comes close. Accept no substitutes. It's worth the wait.

Agree, I just installed a stage 2.5 from him and he would talk for an hour about the detail of one gearing option! But he does have alot of work to do and what he lacks in customer service is more than made up for by technical knowledge and expertise in the field.

Also, I had better results when I used the "stage 2.5 exchange service" title as my email subject line.... It tells him exactly what you want.

If shep offered gear detailing, shot peening and actual info about what they do I might have considered them..... "might"........ And the prices are almost the same.

Email with what your needs are in the subject line, like mentioned above. He always got back to me within a day. I didn't even talk to Jon until he was ready to ship my rear diff back to me.

I was having the tranny pulled here. I've just been so crazy busy getting ready for my move. I'm hoping to just have everything put back together in time. I'm not supposed to be leaving til the end of July, but with my luck things will take a lot longer.

I'll shoot you a call tomorrow. I PM'd you on here a few days ago. I'm sending out my throttle body and IM to get ported and hopefully getting some new cams. I gotta message Cat and see if he wants to sell me the springs and retainers he has. Then retune then I'm off to FL!! I was going to pick up a Z06, but with me moving to a brand new place I've decided to put it on hold for the moment. I'm at least going to get the Evo where I want it to be. The tranny and TC have needed the rebuid for a while!!

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about TRE. Which is why I want to go through him. I plan on spending a decent amount of money here (Stage 3 with 9 first gear, HKS 4.11 and getting the TC built as well along with the Wavetrac front dif) so I hope he answers. I'm just on a time schedule so I don't really have a whole lot of eff around time.

Emailed him a few times now, I should be easy too with a subject line like "wtb brand new stage 3 evo transmission" dunno why I can't even get an email back. I'll call tomorrow - just trying to be a good customer and not bother him, but at same time I would like to be taken care of.

My friend has a TRE transfer case and rear diff.. He dropped almost 10 seconds off his lap times. So I tried to have my t- case done by TRE, got no reply. Shep was real quick with getting it done and back. Both he and Trevor took the time to make sure I got what I needed and gave me options I could afford.
