Evo/S2000 Oil filter

Idk if anyone has brought this up but I cross referenced the larger m1-104 oil filter that can be used on the Evo and it also fits the s2000. The oem s2000 filter is about the same size as the Evo. So, if you like me and the honda shop is right around the corner but the mitsu shop is a hour south you can buy a s2000 filter and it works!! Only downfall is the s2000 filter is a little pricey. I believe around 11-12 bucks.

Nice to know! I plan on buying another S2000 in addition to my X so that makes things convenient. The OEM Honda S2k oil filter is quality too, it's the only North American Honda oil filter still made in Japan, the rest are junk Frams.

why would anyone pay 11 bucks for filter not even made for your car?

why not just order a case online of mitsu's online and call it a day. you can get them for about 4 bucks a filter

Do your car a favor - ditch the tiny filters and buy the filter that fits the Dodge Stealth.

I've been using an oem s2000 filter since I work at a honda dealership, plus my closest mitsubishi dealer ship is 30 mins away and they are a bunch of idiots..

so far no problems

Actually the bigger one is for the Dodge Stealth, the smaller is specifically for the Evo.
