Evo Buddy NEEDS HELP! Please spare a moment if your mechanically inclined! Reward!

Reward for the winning answer! Thanks for your time, here's the story. Lent my car to a guy to install the remote start. When i came back the clutch had been slipping but he continued to drive it, i had bought a new disc to replace, turns out the pressure plate and flywheel and tob were destroyed, as well as axles. i ordered new ones, sat outside a shop while i waited for him to help me put it together. Turns out he probably didnt want to so i trailered it in pieces with all the pieces and a bucket of bolts to a shop, he put it back together promptly and the clutch worked great..idles fine, everything seems great, soon as i step on the gas, brap brap brap choke. computer shows major fuel dump then cut. obd code reader shows running too rich in first bank. snap on scanner shows a code for the speed sensor, nothing alludes to too much fuel. timing is correct. car is running greddy vspec intercooler and new piping, recirculated bov, 780cc injectors, and walbro 255 fuel pump. there arent any other evos in kelowna that i have access too, and noone can figure out the problem, its been taken apart again and no ideas. all im left with is maybe the maf? but thats expensive to buy on a hunch. the ecu has a flash, tuned to 24 psi, is it possible the ecu map reset itself and the bigger injectors are pumping too much gas? could the speed sensor cause all of this?
Thanks in advance, been 5 months without a car and this thing is killing me.

Try a boost leak test.

Did you get tuned for the injectors or did you just throw them in?

Tuned, everything worked perfect before. there worried the ecu reset and the with it running like stock the injectors are dumping too much.

i dont think the ecu can be reset without flashing the stock maps back on it... i have disconnected mine numerous times and never had my tune change

thats what i thought, but running out of options. the maf may have been dropped... im not sure. was boosted, but i drove it to where we did the clutch after i jumped it, they thought a voltage spike could mess with the ecu.

Checked Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Fuses, Vac Lines & Boost Leak test? If you have looked at those i would move on to say MAF & ECU.

You'd be surprised what a boost leak will do to your fuel at idle...even the smallest can throw off the fuel trims.

Can you or anyone log your car? Check the MAF Hz at idle. Can you pull the map? Something very simple like the injector scaling will tell us alot
