ADVICE, 2.3l comp tbb turbo 67mm PSI?!?!

Hey guys whats going on?

I am now a new member to the evolution community, as i have JUST picked up my NEW evo yesterday, and i am literally in LOVE with it! hahaha. Anyways, its fully built, pistons, rods, cams, 1200cc injectors, fuel rail, pump, pretty much has Everything except methanol injection. Anyways, it had a slight boost leak, i just took care of it today and works wonderfully.

Its currently pushing 24 pounds of boost on 91 octane... DO you think that this is too much boost to be running on the 67 mm comp turbo with 91 octane? do you think that i have chances of blowing my motor anytime soon? Shall i lower the boost on it? Let me know what you guys think!!

Thanks!!

~25psi is fine on 91oct. The thing you need to make sure is in line is the AFR and the knock. On my galant I made 500+whp on 91oct at 25psi on a 67mm turbo.

Take it too a reputable shop and have them look/refresh the tune.

Nobody can answer this without logging the car to see where its at.. Take it to a shop and have the tune checked before you bring it to the shop for a new engine..
