ACD Pump question
ACD Pump question
So ive researched EvoM about the 3 lights that come on when driving and ran tests and determined the ACD pump isn't coming on so instead i replaced the transfer case to a non acd one but the lights are still coming on. I even took out the ACD relay thinking since the pump isn't hooked up the lights wouldn't come on.
Could something else be wrong or does the pump have to be completely removed for the lights to stop coming on? I know they should all 3 come on as soon as i start the car but they aren't. Advice anyone?

I'm pretty sure that the AWD ECU (which is referenced in the ACD troubleshooting in the service manual) is coded such that it's expecting the ACD to be present and working.
If you changed the transfer to a non-ACD unit, you shouldn't have to worry about the lights (unless they're just annoying).
It shouldn't affect anything about the way that the car drives to have the lights on (assuming you just have a VC transfer).
Hope that helps.
If you need more clarification, feel free to PM me and ask.
