Question could use a little help

Hey guys i know first hand evo m is very helpful (depending on the people you choose to listen to lol) but i have been having an issue every since i was tuned on e 85. early march i was tuned on e 85, end of march i went on an 8 hour drive. the trip down was a cinch. but on the way back all of a sudden there seemed to be misfire on every cylinder. it sounded like a muted drum beating rapidly on every fire. (thats the best i can explain it) and a p0300 (multiple misfire) code was thrown. i was just cruising nothing dramatic. i pulled over and checked my radiator. i was completely dry. turned the car back on and pulled forward a little ways and the temp skyrocketed. now long story short i had to replace the head gasket. now, the problem of the random startling misfire is occuring way more often and totally randomly. i will be cruising and it will go off. i will change gear it will go away, accelerate and it will stay. i have no idea what this problem is but compression on all 4 cylinders is at 150psi. i have a weird feeling its the coils because i've been told the mitsu stock coils suck. do i need a cop? or a new tune? new injectors?

overheating causes so many serious issues. check ignition, seen that on a few cars and some of the coils just give out, heat is normally the issue

All these early USDM cars do this. You need to have the p0300 code turned off in the ECU. I'm surprised your tuner did not do this.

I don't know if turning it off will do anything though considering I actually feel something happening in the engine

When the code is set the ECU starts shutting off fuel injectors. You are going to feel that.
