Should I sell my evo 8 with 90k ?
Hi everyone, I know I am going to regret this but i'm debating on selling my evo. I really need the money for school plus I own a mercury sable that I can use. Plus i'm wondering how long my evo will last? Everything is fine on it now but im worried is 90k miles a lot?
this is really a question you have to ask yourself. if you cant afford tuition, keeping a second car (however cool it is
) probably isn't feasible. you're still young, cars come and go, and you have a lifetime to own an evo once your financial situation stabilizes.
also, there are MUCH higher mileage evo's around still running strong...maintenance is key. i wouldn't use this as a factor of whether to sell or not.

If money is tight then sell a car, no reason to go broke over a car.
With proper maintenance though 90k miles really isn't that much. There's been a few guys surpass 200k miles already, and I think one of them was actually still on the stock clutch. Preventative maintenance is key though.

Anyway, if it's money you need for school, I would sell the Evo.
sell the sable not the evo. no but on a serious note if you don't have the money for school sell the evo you could aways get another evo later but college is a once in a life time thing.

As for your evo 90K with the proper maintenance is not much mileage at all. You can still get a decent amount for the EVO and perhaps buy one again in the future when you're done school.
