Next, I know you guys like Mustangs dynos, but when it comes to VD, the "mustang" setting isnt as good as the "dynojet" setting and Ill explain why.
When testing, building VD, Brad set a goal to make the program duplicate a dynojet dyno. Also, when Brad and I were setting up the "mustang" setting, we noticed that all the Mustang dynos we tested were all over the place.
So basically VD is made and tested to duplicate a Dynojet and it does a great job of that (all testing has showed it reads within 1-3% of an actual dynojet.)
Basically what Im saying is that the "dynojet" setting is tested and verified. The "mustang" setting on the other hand, is not as tested and verified.
Also, everyone that uses VD, uses the "dynojet" setting, so you may want to too, so it easier to compare your numbers to everyone else.
A piece of information, I ran 116-117 traps with approx 390hp, "dynojet' setting.
**BTW, I work very closely with brad in the development, design and testing of VD.
Ya I was the guy that posted the settings about the AEM EMS on how to export the logs.Originally Posted by Boosted Tuning
Kinda off topic, but OP, when you convert your AEM logs to text, what sample rate are you using? U should be using 20hz.Next, I know you guys like Mustangs dynos, but when it comes to VD, the "mustang" setting isnt as good as the "dynojet" setting and Ill explain why.

I am also aware that the MD setting is not spot on becase of the differences from MD to MD. I do try to use both, however when I post up I post the MD version. That is also why I try to hit the track to verify the numbers. The highest boost I saw at the race track was 26psi. I am going to switch to EBC pretty soon here.
Here are my graphs from a few days ago, right at 28psi.

I am running 30 lbs with a 31 spike. But it falls off a lot up top. I would say you will be fine. I do have ARPs on the stock HG. I think your goal of 120 is doable with good driving should net you a low 11.
