Best Single TANK of Gas

Curious about this - for drivers looking at a single TANK of gas - Not highway mpg or average - there are a ton of similar threads about MPG in general, highway mpg, city mpg, average mpg overall, but I'm curious about a whole best tank - Has anyone broken 30mpg?

Best I've done is 27.2, Going 306.7 miles and refilling back up to 11.29 - I always fill it up til it stops to the first click so I'm assuming it fills up fairly close every time I do. Didn't touch boost once on the tank, summer, tire pressure filled up nicely, etc.

Be sure to mention how many miles and the refill for the calculation

Best single tank posted thus far:
1. djchopps0013 - 2005 Evo 8 MR - 340 miles - 12.1 gallons - 28.1 mpg
2. kyoo - 2006 Evo 9 GSR - 306.7 miles - 11.29 gallons - 27.2 mpg
3. ReaperX - 2003 Evo 8 - 336 miles - 12.4 - 12.4 gallons - 27.1 mpg

Looking for exact tank fill ups - how many miles on the tank and the amount of fill up

I always filled it up until it stops by itself and I will not let the attendant to over fill it in order to get accurate comparison everytime

Back in 2007 on my way to the DSM Shootout, I had just installed my GM Maf and translator. I had to lean the mid-range way out in order to just be able to drive it. I got 340 miles to 3/4 tank of gas without hitting boost once.

I made it from Galax, VA to Dover, OH (340 miles) with just under a 1/4 tank of gas to spare. I didn't fill up the tank after that so I can't get an accurate MPG.

Best mileage I've ever achieved on a full tank of gas was 300 miles on the dot. I think I could have gone a little bit further but the light came on, and was on for a bit, and so I stopped at the first gas station I saw. Haha.

Please post actual numbers with tank and refill for exact mpg, car, etc. I'm gonna list the top 5 in the first post for a best mpg on tank of gas ever to keep track. If you have a fuelly that's even better

Bet you only got that on the way down. How did it do on the way back?

No way in hell you are going to get in excess of 30 MPG unless you do a lot of coasting.

I got 32.55 mpg on the way to Road Atlanta about 2 weeks ago. I average 24-26 on my daily commute (300-318 total miles on 1 fill up).
