Incase anyone comes across this for future ref
I just finished removing the aircon and its actually really easy.
I used the belt from a evo 7 RS without A/C got it from a parts shop here.
Most pain in the **** part is putting the belt back on which isnt really anything just fiddly and the other pain in the *** part is i had to remove a bolt from the exhaust to get the A/C bracket off. (after trying to get the bracket bolt off with a spanner.... i snapped the spanner doh!)
