60k maintenance is anywhere from 600 to 850. It depends on who does it. Just got mine done and paid 820 and I know of a shop that would have done it for about 600.

 

65k miles IMO, is perfect. It means the 60k service should've already been done and you won't have to worry about it for another 60k. And it really all depends on how badly you want a stock Evo. It should be worth the same to modded Evos since mods don't give the car any value unless it's a well known shop car.

Ohh cause I recently met a guy who has a srt4 and makes 430 to the wheel so I just thought you were him. Was hoping to get a ride in the evo. What I drive lol my feet(still stock).

 

Hey bro, be careful buying a car from a dealership like this, they can be shady @ times I looked at an Evo from a dealer just like this. FYI this place is not too far from me, if you like I can go take a look at it for you and if its a real sh!tbox I can let you know so you wont have to pay any tolls and possibly waiste a trip, LMK, either way good luck with whatever you do.

I say try and get more info on the 2006 WW Evo at the top of their inventory page that they don't have pics of yet. If its in good shape & you could pick it up for say $22k, thats not bad with 52k miles on it. At least you will have 8k miles or so before your 60k service needs to be done. But like I said before, any used evo you are looking at I would try and get a compression test done...It would suck if you bought an evo with 1 cylinder that had compression 40-50psi less then the rest and you couldn't tell in a test drive...

 

Correct all EVO VIII's had the blue center section on the seats.

Car was not stripped to put GSR stuff in. It is a RR 05 MR 6 Speed tranny. Car looks clean

Take it for a drive get someone who knows these cars and what to look for to go with you, plenty of us in the Tri State Area

 

Car looks pretty good! However i would get it checked out and what not before purchased. I was looking through that dealers website and it looks like they have a decent amount of Evos for sale. I dont know if your set of Red. But they have a 05 white, 06 Black SE. They have a little higher miles around 80k but if there clean i would look into those. From the internet site, the prices looks around the same as the Red MR. Good luck man!

 

i say this in all these threads, i'd look for a car from the forums so you can get a better idea of the history plus you're in a community of enthusiasts with scrutinizing eyes

 

The EVO 8 mr should have black recaros with red stiching and I think you should look for a stocker, who knows how this car has been driven. if I just hit 400hp id do doughnuts to celebrate. :P

Let me rephrase All USDM VIII's came with the blue seats unless you got the leather which was available in 04-05 in the SSL models only
