is there a difference or are they both the same part? The reason I'm asking is because when I got a rebuilt tranny it was a 9 with evo 8 gearing (all they had available at the time) and the slave cylinder rod doesn't seem to line up right, it's at an angle so I'm trying to figure out if it needs a spacer or I need a new slave cylinder that's for a 9 to mount. I'm trying to track down clutch slipping issues on my triple with only 10k miles and not even a year of use *sigh* From everything I'm seeing they're the same part but I want to double check before I buy one.

According to All Data they are the same part number. Not a SURE thing, but a good indicator. Do you have a picture?
