Are the evo 8 gsr ww color and the evo 9 mr weightless white almost identical? reason I ask is because I have someone selling an evo 9 white trunk that I was going to put on my evo 8 and I wasn't sure if I would be able to notice the color difference if there is one.

 

03,04 = Weightless White
05,06 = Wicked White

If you're really picky, yes they are different. Weightless white is like creamy/milky white while Wicked White is bright/snow white.
If you're not, then go for it.

 

They're pretty much the same color. You would really only tell the difference in certain lighting

 

Also the 2 codes W87 (Weightless) & W37 (Wicked) are both called Innsbruck White now.

Yes the trunklids will interchange. Yo wont notice the color difference too much unless your really looking for it.

 

yes all trunks from the regular 02-03 lancers and evo 8/9's are interchangeable. i used to run a wingless trunk from a regular lancer.
