22,000 miles average per year. I'm glad someone isn't afraid to actually put some mileage on their evo. Congrats on a gem

<sigh> You bought a bone-stock Evo used, promptly blew the clutch within a month's time, and then modded it. Hardly the same thing; though, some kudos go to the guy who owned it before you.

Have a 137k on my '05 MR. Only warranty issue was for the seat back (plastic broke). Love this car.

I used to have a long commute, plus I lived out in the boonies. Now my commute is a lot shorter...I am only putting on 15-20k a year.

On the plus side, my MR has the original 6 speed tranny and it still shifts great

Bought 3 yrs ago bone stock w/ 14K. Just now put a few bolt ons and cams (70K or so) and clutch at 60. Now at 78K without any mech. failures. Was told the 6 spd was junk, but has held up fine for auto and rally X no probs. Will drive until I can't anymore. Then maybe a X auto.

Why wouldn't the 6-speed hold up? It's not like you were running laps at sustained high revs in 4th gear. There's a big 6-speed thread that goes over this in some detail.

reminds me of my EVO IX MR. I sold it earlier this year with 178,000 miles on it. zero issues the entire time I had it, and it's still going strong. Wish i'd never sold it. I'll be picking up another one later this year...with less miles tho haha

congrats man, keep it going.
