White!

 

I bought a LY Evo becuase I wanted a rare color, and I wanted to be noticed

 

if your talking about evo 8s and 9s id say white is probably one of the most popular colors, second to white is of course my favorite because i own that color evo is Electric blue. i noticed when i had the thought of selling mine, i had ALOT of inquires about it, and i think of course the graphite grey is a popular color as well. those I believe are the top 3 color choices.

 

white is definitely the color people love most! sometimes i wish i woulda gotten a WW one instead of TB... my friend has a white one but wants a black. i guess sometimes the grass is greener on the other side

 

white is pretty freakin clean but electric blue is even sicker!!!

 

For me I am stuck between black and GG I like them both equally. Silver is next. After that electric blue. Then yellow followed by BBY and not really a fan of red or white.


There are so many red and white cars of all sorts out there I just got burned out on the colors.


Yes i understand there are tons of black as well but it is so hot.

 

At first I really wanted a white 9. Then I found out about the SE model evo 9. I searched and searched for a clean SE model and found a GG SE 9. And loved the color after that. Graphite looks sick when the sun is shining on it. I wish they made a white 9 SE I would have been all over that. For me its a tie between GG and white then probably electron blue followed by silver then red and whatever colors are left. Lol.

 

I was dead set on getting a white 06 MR, problem was they were more expensive then other similar mileage models and most of what I found was SE's. I want the SSL package so I decided to just get the best deal I could find. I liked blue but it wasn't on my radar. Now I love the Electric Blue and I love it even more that it's probably the rarest color you see around next to Yellow. I think I'm the only Electric Blue Evo IX in Atlanta. Based on all the colors I see I'd say white was the most popular then AS/GG then black then red. The LY, EB and other blue for the 04/05's (color code escapes me now) were either the least made or least desirable at the time when the Evo IX was new.

Im so glad I settled on EB. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Besides everyone knows EB is the fastest (thanks to Emery and the crew at STM). Lol

 

I've seen way more black, red, and silver evos than any other color evos in my area( Chicago). The least color I've seen is white or eb.

 

If I were to do it over again, Id def get AS or WW.

TB is a pain to keep clean but it does look nice when it is lol.

 

The IX was meant to be WW. I love that color the most.

 

I was actually looking for a GG. Since my last car was white. Then again.....i ended up with a WW evo and loveeeeeeeeeee it!

 

Seriously tho... i own a AS evo and you cant see MOST and if even NONE scratches or dings. the other colors if a rock hits it or you wipe your car with a stupid towel you will see swirl marks everywhere... but with the silver you can hardly see shi*. Seriously.

 

AS is probably the easiest color to live with for keeping it clean and looking good. Both WW and TB can look dirty easily, although black is THE WORST. Until they finish that self regenerating black paint I will never purchase another black car. They show scratches way to easily but if its clean and the paint is flawless nothing looks better than black IMO.

Coming from a black car I was looking mostly at AS and GG, not a big fan of white for some reason and the EB and RR are a little flashy for my tastes. I'm really happy with my AS, its a good 'car' color so it helps me get a pass from the fuzz. GG was also in the running I just happened to find a clean low mileage AS first.
