What color is in highest demand?
Thats kind of harsh dont you think?

From what he said, it doesnt sound that bad at all, or even out of the ordinary. Sounds pretty common, if you take a look through the Picture threads.
I've learned to not be as harsh as I have been in the past since it seems to offend so many members. You can look through his "garage" pictures in his gallery and he has it in there. As common as you think it seems it still ruins the appearance of the car unfortunately no matter how many people do it.

In Canada (yes we never got the 8's or 9's) all the ones imported over from most popular colors to least popular colors are AS, TB, WW, RR, GG, LY, BBY and finally EB. I often check autotrader, forums and dealer sites frequently and that seems to be the trend.
I do think however, the fact there aren't too many EB evo's, is due to the color being rare and it was only offered for the IX.
My top 3 would be RR (of course), EB and GG/TB.

Also I think the reason why WW is so popular, is due to many big JDM shop show cars are white, and in Japan it's always been branded as a clean classic color for most imports (like a red ferrari or blue mustang with white stripes). A lot of honda and nissan guys prefer white cars as well.
The reason why I never liked EB or BBY is I always felt evo's should never be blue, due to their competition with subaru back in the day (you never saw a red production STI until recently). But the more I look at it EB is a really nice looking color and suits well with almost any wheel set up.

Wow, really I don't think I have even seen a photo of an EB 8 before and the one's I have seen were 9's with an 8 bumper, which were painted EB. I'm guessing that would be the most rare color and model for the 8's. Do you happen to have a picture of one?

Your smoking rocks and yes I am biased, LOL. BBY looks like pastel Blue. EB looks like Blurple.
