I have an AS, but only because I didn't care about the color since I finally found an unmolested IX with under 30K miles. In my area around Detroit, it's the opposite of LA and most people drive domestics here due to the big 3. There were less than 3 IX 5spds within 200 miles that I found acceptable.

I would have picked EB probably since I have always wanted a nice blue car. But I also like WW and the charcoal color (the name slips my mind at the moment).

Based on the "official color" threads in this forum Silver is IT. That said, what it means I think is that there were more AS Evos imported into North America than any other color. At least through the IXs anyway...

As for me, I wouldn't have bought any other color than AS or GG. Like someone else pointed out they just stay clean looking WAY longer than any other color period. Dirt ain't got nothing on Silver.

Heck I haven't had to wash my ride for going on one year now, just dust it off and spit shine with a damp microfiber rag weekly.

^^ Thank you for clearing that up for me. I orginally thought it derived Initial D .

my favorite is blue. but when i bought mine i found a bone stock graphite grey in great condition and i wasn't about to turn that down.

Honestly if i found the right car i would take an evo in any color.

I wanted the WW IX MR. But couldnt find out at the time. Regardless I got a killer deal on my next choice with the TB IX.

I definitely notice white evos alot more due to the contrast between the black grill and white body. So sick!!!

I really wanted a wicked white rs, but I can't complain about my tarmac black se. The TB looks good just a pain to keep clean.
