Hellos guys.. i have a problem with my AEM methanol kit. Three days ago I made some datallogs and have knock. i think my methanol kit not work correctly. I changed values in start boost and full boost and the same thing. the timing map is very conservative, so, I dont know if the kit is bad or what. I use the mode test and meth out but after 4 or 5 secodns stop automaticly.

For that, I want to use Ethanol with my gas (89 or 90 oct). Maybe 85%, 70% or 50% ethanol, I donīt know!
I have 1,000cc injectors and Fp Black. My question is 1000cc for my setup and use ethanol are to small?? do i need bigger injectors?? I would like to have like 97 oct with ethanol and my gas, that is possible?.

ethanol like e85? if you have access to that I would drop the AEM kit and go Full e85 since you have upgraded injectors. I have the AEM kit and havent had a problem. Check your voltage/connections to the pump and all lines. Try cleaning the nozzle, it has a screen in it...

 

For your meth kit, you need to check to ensure the nozzle is not clogged. As with any system on a car it need to be maintained. Check all the lines and ensure there are no bends or kinks, and do a full once over on the kit.

As far as Ethanol if the cost makes sense run straight 100% Ethanol. If they already sell a blend over there run that. You will have to tune your car for the ethanol. You can also blend your own, just make sure you do it the same everytime.

 

1000cc injectors should be able to handle running E85. Is that what you're asking?

Check your methanol kit for leaks and proper pressure.

We donīt have E85 in my country (El Salvador). I need to mix pure ethanol with pump gas.
