lowering springs question

Hey guys was looking to get myself a set of springs for the moment untill i can afford a nice set of coils. i have a buddy that used to run hotchkis and he said he loved them and the drop looked good. but i also have a friend running tanibe and he loves them says they ride smooth and fell like stock and also give a good drop. just wondering what your guys inputs are which do you think would be best on my car 2005 evo 8

That link shows the spring rates and drop in ride height for most, if not all aftermarket springs for our cars. Personally, I went with the GTWorx springs because I didn't want to lower the car all that much, and I wanted something that would handle well. So far I've been really happy with them

Springs

I have mr bilsteins with swift springs, they lower the car enough to get rid of most of the gap and are not harsh riding..here is a pic.

the reason i wanted tanibe or Hotchkis is because i would like to get rid of alot of the gap and i like how it lowers it more in the front than back and gets rid of that horrible reverse rake haha.

Look in my pics. I got the H&R sport springs from tire rack on sale for $140.

I've driven a car with the Swifts and they are very close in ride and drop for half the price.

As long as this isn't on the Suspension forum, good luck with whatever you choose. FWIW, GTWorx and Swift are the automotively viable options.

More travel before the (effective) spring rate shoots up.
