And pro-efi flex fuel means it can switch between e85 and pump gas without changing anything it automatically detects ethanol content and interpolates between maps based on that content number. It doesn't mean he runs pump gas AND e85 at the same time.
I know this car very well as i do the owner of the shop who had the car, It has an Exedy Triple carbon clutch in it, ive seen it in person. To be clear the dyno results they are speaking of were on a high reading dynopack at a local shop here, i would honestly guess the car makes more like 900whp but regardless this car has more hours of custom work, and custom parts put into it than any other ive ever seen.

As for the RWHP i didnt see that anywhere in the ad, but i do know that it was the shop owners son who made the for sale posts and he is 15 so im sure a couple typos and things werent correct. I know the car used to have Cosworth M3s in it so idk why it says hks 272's.

That's some crazy tuning right there for sure.

News to me, regardless.

Check out that link I posted on the second page.... Shows a supra running the Pro Efi 128.... They run e85 then put in 93 and then top it off with e85.... Video shows the gauge calculating the percentage of ethanol.Even With the mixture of 93 and e85 his car still gets along without a hiccup... Like a true flex fuel vehicle. I would highly recommend watching the video. Pretty sharp setup...

The pics look questionable to me, for the engine shot it looks like it has some chrome accent panel around the grill. Obviously a very clean EVO

in the auto industry FFV vehicles are the ones that run both ethanol and regular fuel. can you mix them? yes offcourse the calibration is set up in such a way that it is safe to do so, can you expect big power? HEEEEELL no, i do this for a living, i am a calibration engineer for one of big three automakers and when we do the base cal for ffv vehicle we put in values that will make the car safe when 93 and e85 are mixed, we enrich it. hence you get ****ty gas milage with e85 on any ffv vehicles. No there is no interpolation or any of that, because oem calibration is not the same as the one you see on ecuflash for Evos.

the Pro EFI looks to be what I would personally want on my Evo...but the cost is just 0_o...so, I'll just stay with my AEM ECU and switch between maps. screw it.

where in any of my posts did I say you would make big power? o, I think with that mixture the supra was running was around 700 or so hp, on 60 ish percent ethanol.... but thats weak right... look im far from being an expert on any of this, im just saying I like the product and the options it gives you.

Well to get back on op if this will be your boys first Evo tell him to shop around for a casket as well LOL jk but not to be a dick but that's too much power for the inexperienced Evo owner I'm putting together my 2.4l build to get near 650 safely n it gives me sweaty palms when I think n contemplate bout it...

Get familiar with a stock one then start bolting on and building up from there imho..

Car looks clean and everything but I call SHANNANIGANS... On 1000hp

air filter deeper in the engine bay for a 42r winner.

Sadly Evo's come & go. No matter how much HP through modifications an Evo has, it's always a preferred choice to buy a brand new Evo (in stock form) from a local dealership at that same price. Modding a car is simply a hobby. It will bring in 8 seconds of fun a few times and then after that, it'll be like any other toy a kid puts away in the closet.
