e 01 error code?

Mods if this is in the wrong section please move.

The other night I was driving around listening to a cd and the girl I was with switched it over to the radio and turned it down. The next morning leaving her house I switched back to the cd and noticed it sounded staticky and was skipping so I pulled it out to clean the cd and thought maybe it was having trouble reading it since it was a burnt cd. After work however when I tried to listen to another cd the cd player says e01 and ejects the disc. Is the cd player junk or does it maybe need cleaning? I do live on a gravel road and it gets pretty dusty. I've searched but can't find what the e01 means?

E01 - Focus Error - Disc is not loaded correctly, or condensation on disc
I'd try cleaning the laser. If all else fails, throw an aftermarket head unit in there.

I looked for my laser cleaning disc but couldn't find it guess ill have to buy one. If that doesn't work it gives me a reason to put some gauges in its place. Thanks for the info on the e01 code.
