AEM boost gauge wiring question. 12v vs 12v switched?
Chaps... I'm just installing an AEM Boost gauge (not true boost). I have my wideband O2 installed and I have 2 questions.
1. On the boost gauge there are 3 wires I'm looking for. 2 are red for 12 volt power, and 1 is pink for SWITCHED 12v power. However... all 3 wires for my gauge are pink. 2 of them are labeled 12v power and the other is shorter and not labeled. The question... whats the plan here? Are the 12v and 12v switch wires interchangable? Or does anyone who's had the gauge remember if the switched wire actually said switched on it?
2. Can I tap into the wires from the wideband? Or can I wire it into the same SPOT as the wideband? Or does it need its own dedicated tap?
Everything solved. I found the pinout diagram for this.
I searched... I don't have an issue installing the gauge... I know what has to happen, I just need to know if I missed something?
