Are there different shop manuals for the USDM and JDM evos (besides the language)? I found a couple I can purchase online for like 6-8 dollars but they seem to have the pics of the ALS system coming off the exhaust manifold. 
I am using an aftermarket turbo setup anyway but it makes me wonder when going deeper into the car if there would be other subtle differences that might cause issues.
I figure that they are virtually the same but I would like to take murphy's law out of the equation as much as possible.
Ok so I found what I thought was a good deal on service manual for like 5$ well it turned out to be a maintenance manual. Alot of what I am looking for is not in there. I was mislead by the title and description of the item saying that it had said items. Anyway do not purchase a manual from kasparsu123. I have order another one from different vendor that is in CD form. I post up the link to that one if its quality.

That is pretty much what I said before. I don't want to get into the middle of a project and then figure out I am missing something or chasing a piece that doesn't belong. I guess that I just need to buy it and if something is out of place look for another source of info.
Wiring will show up different in the JDM manual, you already mentioned the ALS, then there is the AYC system that USDM cars do not have also JDM cars have actual interior climate control unlike the USDM's

LOLLLL never knew about this, past 40 minutes googling Evo IX service manual and coming up empty handed. Youre the man, never would have even guessed to go to Evoscans site.
