evo 8 flasher/hazards problem.
evo 8 flasher/hazards problem.
where is the flasher/hazard relay located on the evo8? A small section of the wire loom that goes from the driver side headlight to the right got melted by my exhaust yesterday because it came hanging and I did not realize it.
After this happened, when I flicked my low beams on, the high beams would stay on also and would not shut off unless I turned the lows off also. And the turn signals or the hazards did not work. I seperated the wires from eachother and tapes them up.
Now the headlights work but the signals and flashers still do not work. My question is where is the relay for the flashers and hazards? dash but which one is it. I know its under the I checked all the fuses and they are all good. I think maybe the relay blew out or something and I have some spare relays I just need to know which relay it is.

The flasher is powered by the ETACS ECU which is part of the under dash fuse box. You're going to need to use the wire diagrams to trouble shoot your problem.
