How much whp is the EVO 9 stock turbo good for?

Well ive been trying to search and havent really found anything. Assuming that i have all the basic bolt ons and a good tune, on stock motor and tranny still, how much awhp is the evo 9 stock turbo good until? I mean what is really the most power it can make? The reason i ask is because me and a few friends of mine were having a debate about this, and i figured you guys would know best!

350-400 awhp on a good tune with supporting mods and some corn juice. A few have gotten over that mark, but not many.

English racing has taken the stock turbo to 522awhp...there are too many factors to give a set amount of hp a stock turbo can make

For the average person, you can get it to about 400 - 450 with full bolt ons and e85. I was able to max mine at 425awhp, with no porting, no cams

the torque is the real number to look at, or what i like most... torque kills but it also thrills. i've frequently seen the stock 9 turbo make torque in the 400-475 range, and HP from 380-440. im sure it has gone higher, no telling reliability though

We just went 10.5@128 on a stock 8 turbo. yesterday we swapped it with a 9 turbo and were able to pick up a bit of power. The same car is now making 430 tq and 429 whp making it the highest HP stock turbo Evo I have seen on our dyno yet. I really do not think there is anymore left in it. Its tapped out at 34 psi.

That turbo is heavily ported and built motor that has no a/c or ps, electric wp, 10:1 comp, lightweight rods, and built head on e90 with almost 34 psi... Not the norm for most stock 9 turbo guys but very impressive.

Typically around 400whp and tq on a Dynojet. Don't believe the bs numbers you read on this site lately though as they are using a software program and setting the weight to ridiculous numbers

LOL. The VDR software is a great tool. I would not write it off quite that quick.

A local DynoJet shop out here made 440/440, on e85 @ 32psi. I have seen quite a few dyno graphs with mid 400's.

So I was say at 28psi, you sould be 420-430 hp and tq, and depending on your setup SD or MAF you should be able to get into the mid 400's.
