Yes. All of my times in my signature are stock block.

I love the e9 turbo best set up I've had.

Enjoyed it more than my fp green or pte6235r.

Made 380 whp 400 torque on 89 octane and meth. If I were in the es it would most likely be over 400.

Oh my, the tough decisions based on real-world experiences. You used the word "best" and then you state a comparison between the FP Green and PTE 6235r. Dang. I assume that this was all done on the 2.0L, right? I know it is the excitement of the drive that makes things fun. I ran the stock VIII turbo with E85 and with its 402whp / 390wtq, it was pretty fun although it only lasted seven days before I threw a rod. I do not want to press the IX turbo too hard and I would rather have a fairly conservative E85 tune making 450whp and 450wtq. This does make things tough for me as I have looked at getting a brand new EVO IX turbo with the FP compressor cover and anti-surge set up instead of the EF3 or DBB FP Red.

I loved the set up because it was cheap and had results. Car had a cheapo ebay 3" fmic. No spark tech and ran 30-32 psi tappering down to 28-26. I had no bc open wg with 780cc injectors. We don't have e85 where I live so I had to run meth. Daily drove the **** out of it before driving into a wall.

Dude, I was reading through your post with great detail and then I really had to giggle at the picture that came to mind as I could see you clinching the steering wheel and yelling, "Yeah boi..." just before hitting the wall. I do hope you are alright. I cannot tell you how close I am to just getting a brand new EVO IX turbo with the FP compressor cover and 3" anti-surge next week. There is just something that keeps me enticed about breaking the 500whp mark but then I know I would be in the area of breaking other things as well which is something that I do not want to do. I really like the stock IX turbo, my friend but at the same time, I have been looking at the DBB FP Red and EF3. Dang decisions...

I had two evos my evo 4 with pte kit and evo 8.

Evo 8 was heavier but that e9 turbo is so fun. Kind of want to see if hitting 10s with an oe turbo is possible for a normal person with no ties to a shop.

I still have my evo 4 maybe after I'm done with the pte ill put a smaller turbo in there.

Where I live having an fp sucks no special oils here we are lucky to get mobil 1. I recomend e9 turbo to anyone who wants a quick daily driver.

I agree with you , mine puts out 402 on e85 and 354 on pump gas using dynojet.

I made 408whp on 22psi on my 2.4l fully built motor. And 489whp at 30psi.. it all depends.

You guys make it very enticing to move back down to a stock frame turbo from my fp green. especially when i just found a modified evo 9 turbo with a titanium turbine wheel and a billet compressor wheel
