hta 3586 on 2.3 stroker?

How many of you like the hta86 on the 2.3liter. For those of you who have it:
when do you start to spool?
when you do you hit full boost?
how much hp/tq are you making?
Which clutch are you using?

Search. You cant do a better combo then a hta86 on a 2.3rpm motor. You get everything with that setup

James Reese and David Buschur are both running the Buschur Racing 2.3 RPM Stroker with Forward Facing HTA 86. Search for either of the cars and their results.

Yeah, I just checked them out. But those are drag cars. I'm looking for a highway car, that'll more than likely work for me though.

Im on stock head and block. I keep it under 8,000rpm...

If you go with a 2.3rpm motor you can rev that thing way out. The powerband is just nuts

I'm on a 2.3 stroker, GSC s2, springs, retainers, and valves. How much power hp and tq are you making, when are you hitting full boost?

My car made right around 490whp and 380tq on CBRDs mustang dyno at only 25psi of boost. We kept torque low on purpose for the sake of being stock block

What turbo are you running on it now? I'm running a 35R with a .63 hotside on my 2.3, but I plan on possibly upgrading my turbo to the HTA. I've also considered swapping over to an FP Red as well so I can have a turbo that responds sooner.

I'm seeing spool by 3200 rpm, Boost comes on so quick. I don't recall exactly where full boost is hitting but its just over 4K.
This is with a 2.4L G4CS block (6bolt) FP3 cams and a precision converter in my auto trans DSM.
The FP 3586HTA is the best turbo I've ever owned.

Quick Reply: hta 3586 on 2.3 stroker?
