Angry Watch Your Evo

I just wanted to post a general warning for everyone to keep and eye on their Evos, since I have had 2 break-ins in 2 weeks. I don't even live in a bad area! Both times I was able to scare them off (I have a 2-way pager alarm system) and the second time I got their licence plate which turned out to be a stolen car. On the second attempt the guy actually gave me attitude when I yelled at him. Anyway, they didn't get anything but they did cause a lot of damage to the car body and the dash. So keep an eye on your car; they seem to be big targets for stereo thieves.

It's in the garage now, I had to move a lot of my stuff around to make it fit (barely). Hurting an Evo is like child abuse when it's my baby!

Oh yeah, they did have time to rip off the boost gauge. I'm glad I hadn't gotten the new window tinted.

Ditto. They busted my lock and wrecked my steering column. Cost me about $750 to set it straight.

Sorry, that sucks. Next time call the cops, don't scare them away. If the guy copped an attitude, he probably had a gun.

Guess that stuff is worth more than your 30k EVO? (sorry, bad joke) I can't get over how many people keep junk in their garage while their car sits outside.

Lightsped,

Great post however don't use that Hi-Power. It's an early one with the internal extractor. Those are more prone to failure as well as being less available to replace. That's more a collector than a shooter. Now a new Hi-Power would be a completely different story and a great idea.

Park it outside and wait with pepper spray and a baseball bat.
