manifold removal.. help

manifold removal.. help

The nuts won't come off and there is no clearance between nut and manifold for a socket so I am stuck anyone else have this problem.... It's a buschur cast mani

Are you referring to the nuts that hold the manifold to the head on the studs? Did you spray them down with pb blaster? There should be room for 1/4 deep sockets with an extension bar on there...

This is dead on. I waited about 30 minutes after spraying PB blaster.

Now if you're talking about the outlet side, I had to use a stubby combination wrench for the passenger side rear nut. It was a bit of a pain.

Yes on blaster there is absolutely no room for a socket and this is Jus on the top 4 ...I finally Jus cut the studs off but the 2 that did back out made grooves in the manifold from turning so close ill upload pics wow what a pita

Why would you cut the studs off?!!

There's room for every nut with a socket or a wrench. It's a pain, but you don't need to cut the studs
