Just from reading your posts...everything seems ok(?) plugs, coolant level and oil. And also guess it isn't over heating.

Keep your eyes on coolant untill you get it to shop. If this all starts after radiator installed, you might wanna check if they did installed correctly and t-state is working.

If you don't get over heating or seeing cooling over flow from tank, i wouldn't say it is HG yet.

Blow white smoke isn't all that serious. If yours blow white smoke at only idle and if it goes away later. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
