Turn signal/ lighting questions

Hey all, been a while for me on here. I'll try to keep this short but please take into consideration that when it comes to electrical stuff I'm a damn idiot...
Passenger front parking light and turn signal went out ( which caused the driver side to go as well, although the driver ts still works???) I went and changed all bulbs and the passenger side still does not work. I am assuming that this may be a socket, and I do not have a voltmeter to test, so just wondering if anyone has had this same issue and what to do to fix. ALSO, when buying the bulbs, I bought some LED plate bulbs and even after "soaking" the screws for the covers as much as possible, still cannot get these to break loose; seems its just breaking all of the "stuff" under the bumper...any ideas???

You need to buy a VOM and learn how to use it.

Wow, thanks....I really didn't think of that one. Should I PayPal you $100 for your trouble? I'm pretty sure the question wasn't "should I buy a voltmeter"

I'll tell you a story.....

I read on here that you could pull the blue condoms off of the illumination bulbs in the dash and see the gauges a lot better. Great idea I thought. So, I did that and I had no light at all. So I examined the bulbs, these things are tiny and hard to see, but the filaments were still there. Without a VOM I could have messed with this problem forever. Instead, I started checking each bulb for resistance and everyone was open even though the filament was plainly there. I got new bulbs and it was fixed. It turns out that since these bulbs are on any time the car is driven, day or night, if you mess with them they are toast.

I wasn't trying to be rude, only to help you. Sometimes things as simple as bulbs can drive you crazy if you don't have the equipment to check for what is going on.
