What is the best turbo for pump gas? There's only have three E85 stations in there area and all spread out. This is going on a 2.3 stroker. I like the 6262, hta35r, but I don' know how it'll work on 93oct.

500, but if I can have something seriously fun, I'll take that.

BBK Full might be a little small for a 2.3 but otherwise it's a rockin pump gas turbo. I'd say CBRD BBK-B or FP HTA Green if spool is priority. FP Black if not.

Define "fun". Some people think instant spool is fun. Some people would rather wait a little and have a lot more power up top. Your decision.

Something like a BBK-B or HTA Green on a 2.3 will get you 500 whp on pump gas and feel like an NA car. Like no lag AT ALL. Or you can go with an FP Black and make more at the expense of a little spool, but the Black really starts shining on race gas/higher boost. It's the same story the higher you go. Up to you really.

500 on pump on bbk-b and Hta green, I just don't see that. I really need to see a graph on that. People bearly make 500 pump on the black. Hit and miss with those.

I run a 6262 on the street and it's a blast. Bbk turbos are tiny don't waste your money if you want power.

What dyno? On a Mustang it would be tough but it's easily doable on a Dynojet. BBK Full on stock motor with pump gas can do close to 450 whp on Dynojet. BBK-B and HTA Green flow a little more and you don't have to worry about grenading the block with too much boost if you have a built 2.3.

There you go. Stock 2.0, BBK-B and pump gas = 428 whp on CBRD'S Mustang dyno. Add 10% for Dynojet and you're at 470 whp. That's stock motor. Safe to say 2.3 could make more and spool faster.

Just one lonely vote for the HTA3582 with the .82 hot-side... Making little over 500 on a 2.0L Pump gas 93.

I think it's a solid strong combo.. When I was searching it was all over the place. very happy with what I ended with.

I had a 6262 making over 600+ whp. On 93 octane
The turbo is currently for sale , very low miles. Just going a different route.

what turbo do you guys recommend for a stock block evo 9? im not planning to go e85 or 93 either.
im also not looking for a whole lot of power...mainly a dd..maybe 380-420whp sound alright..
all the mods i have are bolt ons. ie ic piping, megan manifolds. etc.. im thinking of buying hks 272 cams.

380-400 on a dynojet? I'd go FP Green.

ill go with the 6262 with a billet wheel.. you wouldnt have to much lag running a 2.3 stroker
